News of the COVID-19 outbreak has dominated the airways since the start of 2020. Since the announcement of the first South African case of the virus, the numbers have been rising every single day. It is for the safety of the people in our country that the government decided to implement a 21-day lockdown to try to curb the further spread of the virus.
We at The Exhibitionist, Yours Eventfully, Powerhouse (Print Laser CNC) and Show Stopper Properties, fully support the lockdown and the implementation of social distancing as our priority is first and foremost the safety of our customers, employees and our beloved country. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown, our production facility is not operational; however, thanks to our hard-working employees working from home, our client service, conceptual design and business admin and management departments are still fully functioning.
Throughout the lockdown, we are taking on new project briefs and conceptualising amazing new concepts to ensure that we are able to head straight back into work and continue bringing our clients fantastic designs once we emerge from this pandemic. We will still be costing print, products, shows, events and interiors, ensuring that you can get back on track at the end of the lockdown.
It is imperative that during these uncertain and difficult times, we all obey the lockdown and do our part to curb the spread of the virus. While businesses such as ours will be impacted by the pandemic, it is important to put the needs of our country first and remember that in these circumstances, we are stronger apart.
To support our country in the fight against the virus, we have a very small skeleton staff operating our machines in isolation in shifts in our print factory, to help produce face visors as an essential service. We have secured a large amount of 0,5mm PET Lumex sheeting to assist in cutting these visors with our moulding partners.
To our clients, we are here for you, and more importantly, without you, we would not be here.
